A ring sling is one of the most versatile baby carriers you can own. They have no lower or upper weight limit, can be used for premature and low birth weight babies, are great for quick ups (and downs) with toddlers and pack away small in your bag so they are great for travelling. There is a small learning curve to get it right, but once you nail it you won't regret it.
