Shipping policy

Cloth and Carry uses carbon-neutral couriers wherever possible, including but not limited to Sendle and Australia Post. Most orders, particularly those travelling to regional areas of Australia and to PO Boxes, will be sent via Australia Post. Tracking will be provided wherever applicable.

We are at the Post Office daily and always endeavour to send your parcel within 24 hours of payment receipt, unless there are unforeseen circumstances or otherwise indicated on our website. Please note that Cloth and Carry is located in Sydney and as such standard shipping interstate, especially to Western Australia, can take up to 7 business days to arrive. This time may be longer during peak periods including during pandemics such as Covid-19, Christmas, Easter and other extenuating circumstances beyond our control.

FREE local pickup from Mount Kuring-Gai, New South Wales is also available at checkout. This will be contactless collection at your convenience, and you will receive an email with full details within 24 hours of payment receipt.

Standard shipping is charged at a flat rate of $10, with express post charged at a flat rate of $15. 

Express post is always sent via Australia Post and will generally be sent within 24 hours of payment receipt. Australia Post's Express Post "next day guarantee" has been suspended and therefore this service may not be applicable depending on your location. As such, please note your delivery should be received within 1-3 business days of lodgement at the post office, however remote and interstate orders may take longer. 

Wombat & Co Jackets

Please note that Wombat & Co jackets ship directly from Wombat Australasia in New Zealand. Jackets are shipped within 1-2 business days but can take 7-10 days to arrive to you.

Cloth and Carry is not responsible for any shipping delays that may occur with any postal service. 

If your parcel goes missing or is damaged we will do our best to assist you to launch an investigation with the courier involved. Please contact us at your earliest convenience to discuss any delivery issues you may have. Cloth and Carry is not liable for loss, damage or theft during transit, so please retain your original packaging, order receipt and tracking number to lodge a claim directly with the courier involved.  

Pre-Orders

If your order contains pre-order products, your shipping or collection notification email will be delayed until all of your items are ready for collection. 

International Shipping

United States

For US orders, duties and import taxes may apply depending on the product type and total order value.

  • Cloth & Carry includes prepaid tariffs in the product price. Tariffs are prepaid as per Australia Post requirements.

  • If any additional charges are due and payable once the package enters the United Stated, the customer is responsible for paying any additional charges to the carrier.

Shipping costs shown at checkout include:

  • International postage

  • Insurance to the value of your purchase

  • Prepaid tariffs

All international shipping costs are non-refundable.

Customs processing times vary by state. Delays caused by US Customs or the carrier are outside our control and do not constitute a fault or late dispatch by Cloth & Carry.

If an order is returned to us because:

  • additional charges were unpaid,

  • the customer refused delivery, or

  • the shipping address was incorrect,

the customer is responsible for:

  • the original shipping cost,

  • the return shipping cost, and

  • any carrier handling or customs fees.

Refunds (where applicable) will be processed minus all shipping and carrier charges.

Once a parcel leaves Australia, responsibility transfers to the carrier. If your order is lost or damaged in transit:

  • We will assist you in submitting a claim with the carrier.

  • Refunds or replacements will only be issued in accordance with the carrier’s investigation outcome.

  • Claims must be lodged within 7 days of the estimated delivery date.

Other Countries

International Shipping rates vary based on location. Rates will be calculated and applied upon checkout. Taxes and duties are not included and may be applied by customs at the destination country. Any duties or taxes incurred are the responsibility of the recipient. For more information contact your local customs office directly.
