a few notes before you come

What to expect at your first meet

i.

It's genuinely casual

Drop in any time within the event time (but note that hosts do have to finish up on time to get their babies to sleep). You don't have to stay the whole time, and you don't need a baby in tow either - pregnant folks, partners and grandparents are very welcome.

ii.

Try carriers you've been curious about

Your host brings a range of carriers in different styles. Think ring slings, woven wraps, half buckles, full buckles, the lot. They'll help you fit each one properly to you and your baby.

iii.

Ask the awkward questions

The ache in your lower back. Whether your newborn looks right in there. The method of tying a wrap you can never quite remember from YouTube. These are exactly the questions we love.

iv.

Bring whoever you'd like

Partners, toddlers, prams, snacks, playmats. The venues are family friendly pubs, cafes and clubs with space to spread out and easy parking.
