A Meh Dai carrier is an East-Asian style soft structured carrier. Traditionally these come with a square or rectangular shaped front panel attached to a tie waistband and long shoulder straps that you cross on your back and tie underneath baby's bottom or cross under baby and tie behind your back. A "half buckle" carrier is a meh dai that has a buckled closure on the waistband and tie-up shoulder straps, or less commonly a tie waistband with buckled shoulder straps.
A meh dai or half buckle carrier offers simplicity with a structured panel and versatility of easily adjusted straps to cater for different wearers. It also shapes easily to the body of the wearer and the baby or toddler being worn, making this a very comfortable baby carrier option.
