TBYB WITH CLOTH AND CARRY: How it works

 Cloth and Carry is excited to offer Australia's first Try Before You Buy baby carrier service. 

Choosing the right baby carrier is a big decision and we know it’s not always easy to tell from photos or a quick try on. That’s why our Try Before You Buy program lets you take a carrier home, use it in your everyday life, and see how it feels with your little one. No pressure, no guesswork - just time, support and confidence before you commit.

How it Works

1. Browse our Try Before You Buy collection and choose the style you’d like to try.

2. Select your colour preference, then add to cart.

3. Add your security deposit: You will see a popup to add your security deposit. Please ensure you add this or it will slow down your carrier being shipped to you.
   

4. Postage or Pickup - pay for postage or collect from us in Mount Kuring-Gai, NSW. NOTE: This is only postage for the baby carrier to get to you. If you decide to return the carrier you will need to pay for return postage.

5. Pay for your trial - You will be charged your trial fee, a $100 security deposit and postage to get the carrier to you.

6. Wear & Explore - Your trial period will start once you actually receive your carrier so don’t worry about possible postage delays. For the next two weeks, use your carrier as much as possible and join our private Facebook group for free fit checks and advice.

7. Either:
   Return on Time - send it back by the end date on your agreement, using tracked post or by returning in person, or
   Apply to Buy - send us an email before the end date on your agreement and we will send you an invoice for your carrier minus the trial fee and security deposit.

Things to Know

• Your carrier will arrive brand new.

• Please check your child meets the weight and length guidelines before booking. If you’re unsure, reach out - we’re happy to advise.

• Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions and the T.I.C.K.S. babywearing safety guidelines. Cloth and Carry is not responsible for injuries due to misuse.

• You can send us photos or videos for a free fit check any time during your hire.

• The trial period is 2 weeks.

• Carriers are posted via Australia Post with tracking. Returns must be tracked too.

• Take extra care with the warranty card and instruction manual as they need to be returned with the carrier to receive your security deposit back.

• Late returns are charged at $5 per day. Carriers not returned within 28 days will be invoiced at full RRP.
