We want your Baby Carrier Hire experience to be simple, supportive and stress free.
By hiring with Cloth and Carry you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

Quick Overview (Plain English)

• You pay a hire fee, a refundable security deposit and postage both ways.

• Hire term is 2 weeks (14 days)

• Return the carrier on time and in good condition → your deposit is refunded.

• These carriers are preloved/demo and may not be available for purchase.

• Late returns incur $5/day. After 28 days, the carrier is charged at full RRP.

• Use the carrier safely and follow T.I.C.K.S. guidelines.

• Keep the carrier away from cigarette smoke, pets and strong fragrances.

1. Eligibility

• Must be 18+ and an Australian resident.

• Maximum of one carrier/wrap hired at any one time.

• Hire is for personal use only, not transferable, not to be taken outside Australia.

2. Rental Period

• Hire period: 14 calendar days.
  

• Hire begins on date of delivery or date of collection.

• Carrier/wrap should be scanned back into the postal system on the last day of the hire (or returned in person).

3. Fees & Security Deposit

• A rental fee and refundable security deposit are payable upfront.

• Rental fees are non-refundable.

• The security deposit is refunded when the carrier is returned on time and in good condition.

• Postage costs (both ways) are not credited or refunded.

• Late returns incur $5/day.

4. Postage & Returns

• Renter pays tracked postage (including return postage).

• Local collection/return may be pre-arranged from Mount Kuring-Gai, NSW.

• Carriers must be safely packaged and scanned into the Australia Post system by the End Date, or returned in person.

• All components must be returned (drool pads, lumbar support, hood, instructions, warranty card, etc).

5. Late Returns

• $5/day late fee applies for every day past the End Date.

• After 28 days, the carrier is considered unreturned and full RRP may be charged.

• After 56 days, unpaid replacement fees may be escalated to debt collection and/or police.

6. Care & Use

• Use carriers safely, following manufacturer instructions and T.I.C.K.S. guidelines.

• Keep carriers away from cigarette smoke, pets/pet hair and strong fragrances.

• No animals are to be carried in Cloth and Carry carriers.

• Do not modify, alter, or repair the carrier.

• Inspect buckles, stitching and straps before each use.

7. Cleaning

• Do not wash the carrier unless you receive written instructions.

• Unauthorized washing or unclean returns will incur a cleaning fee.

• Suck pads or accessories must be returned; replacements are charged at cost.

8. Loss or Damage

• You are responsible for loss, theft, or damage during the hire period.

• Repair or replacement costs (RRP) will be deducted from the deposit.

• Any remaining balance must be paid within 10 business days.

10. Cancellations

• You may cancel before dispatch.

• Hire fee is non-refundable; deposit and postage are refunded for pre-dispatch cancellations.

• Cloth and Carry may cancel and refund at our discretion.

11. Liability & Indemnity

• Hire equipment is used at your own risk.

• Cloth and Carry is not liable for injury, accidents, or damages arising from use or advice.

• You indemnify Cloth and Carry against third-party claims arising from misuse or breach.

12. Privacy & Communication

• Communication will occur via email or SMS.

• Please update us if your contact details change.

• Data is stored securely and not shared except where required by law.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

• Governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

• Disputes should first be raised directly with Cloth and Carry.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions and your Rental Agreement form the entire agreement.
