Refund policy

ORDER CANCELLATION

Cloth and Carry reserves the right to cancel your order prior to shipment if the order is deemed to be fraudulent by our website security systems, if the stock ordered is unavailable or if we are unable to fulfill the order for any reason. Large product releases can result in accidental over-selling of products due to delays in communication between different systems, like our website and a third party payment provider (including but not limited to Afterpay and PayPal). Unfortunately this is out of our control and may result in cancellation of your order. 

If a customer should request cancellation of their order prior to the shipment being processed, a full refund will be provided, minus any payment transaction fees applicable. Orders that have already been shipped are not eligible for cancellation. 

Digital items, including downloadable products and gift vouchers, are not eligible for cancellation or refund. 

RETURNS

If for any reason, you are unhappy with your purchase, it can be returned for a refund, exchange or store credit to the value of the purchased goods within 21 days of the purchase date. No refund, exchange or store credit will be offered for purchases after 21 days. Shipping costs are non-refundable. 

All items being returned must be in original condition, unused and/or unworn, labels intact and in original, undamaged packaging. If the items returned are not intact or are in a different condition to when they were sent from Cloth and Carry the customer may be eligible for a partial refund only, or no refund at all, at the discretion of Cloth and Carry management.  

The customer is liable for the full cost of tracked return shipping. 

No returns will be accepted for items that have been washed and/or used (including but not limited to cloth nappies) for hygiene reasons. 

Returns should always be shipped with tracking included, and shipping insurance may be required for items valued at $100 or more. Cloth and Carry has no control over shipping companies and therefore we are unable to guarantee that we will receive your returned goods. 

Under no circumstances are shipping costs refunded, regardless of the reason for return. The cost of return shipping will be deducted from any refund applicable, if the return shipping is arranged by Cloth and Carry.

Please note the customer will also be liable for shipping costs for any exchanged products or orders (or part thereof) returned due to change of mind. 

REFUNDS

Once a return has been received and inspected by Cloth and Carry administration, an email will be sent to the customer with full details of the product inspection and status of any potential refund applicable (approved/declined). If a refund is approved, a credit will be processed within 5 business days via the payment channel used for the original order purchase, minus any fees charged by your payment provider (including but not limited to ShopPay, PayPal and AfterPay). Please note that some payment providers can take up to 10 business days to pass on a credit to the customer. 

Baby Carrier Rental Agreement Cancellation and Refunds:

The Renter may cancel the Agreement before the rental period begins. The rental fee is non-refundable, but the security deposit and any postage fees paid will be refunded if the cancellation is made at least 7 days before the rental period begins AND before the equipment has been shipped, as specified in the Agreement.

Cloth and Carry representatives reserve the right to cancel a rental request prior to the beginning of the rental period and, when cancelled by the Company, all amounts paid will be refunded in full.

Please note: gift vouchers, digital downloads, preorders, sale or out of season items cannot be exchanged or refunded. Services, including but not limited to baby carrier demonstrations, baby carrier fittings, hire of baby carriers and associated babywearing accessories, presentations and product demonstrations, are not eligible for refund under any circumstance.
