Is the LennyUpGrade PRO suitable for newborns? Yes, from 3.2 kg. The fully adjustable panel height and width let you create a snug, ergonomic fit that supports your baby's natural M-position from day one.
Up to what age or weight can I use it? Newborn (3.2 kg) to around 20 kg, which is roughly age three. The adjustable panel keeps support and comfort consistent at every stage.
What's the difference between the LennyLight and the LennyUpGrade PRO? Both are ergonomic LennyLamb carriers, but they serve different needs.
The LennyLight is minimalist, lighter and simpler to use, with fewer adjustment options. Best for petite wearers, travel or warm climates. The LennyUpGrade PRO is more adjustable, slightly bigger without feeling bulky, has more padding (including behind the buckles), and ships with a hood and lumbar support included. Better for plus-sized wearers because the shoulder straps and waistband are longer.

What's included? A removable hood and a lumbar support panel. Both come in the box. The hood gives sun protection and extra head support for back carries, the lumbar support adds lower back comfort for longer carries or back sensitivity.
Is it hip-healthy? Yes. The LennyUpGrade PRO is hip-healthy certified and tested to EU and ASTM safety standards. It seats baby with knees higher than bottom in a spread-squat position, the M-position recommended for healthy hip development.
Can two carers share one carrier? Yes. Fully adjustable straps and buckles mean you can quickly customise the fit to suit different bodies. We use this carrier often at meets when two parents are sharing.
Why are different colours different prices? LennyLamb carriers come in different fabric blends, weaves and weights. Pricing follows the weave. Basic Herringbone is the cheapest; then Broken Twill and Cotton Jacquard; then the Fabric Blend Jacquards (with linen, bamboo, and other blends).
Is the LennyUpGrade PRO good for summer? Yes, depending on the fabric you choose. Lighter fabrics carry cooler, linen blends are even more breathable. Aim below 250 gsm: the lower the gsm, the thinner the fabric. Wild Wine Bouquet, Tangled Plait, Matcha, Peanut Butter and Airglow are some of the lower gsm options.
