The DidyFix is Didymos's answer to a full buckle carrier. At just over 600g, it's one of the lightest options we stock, which makes it a good fit for travel, wearers who don't like bulk or anyone who wants a carrier that takes up minimal space. The back panel is slightly more compact than some of our other carriers, which is part of why it's so packable.
If you have worn a carrier with straps that dug in or felt bulky or heavy, the DidyFix solves both. It is a highly adjustable buckle carrier yet light and comfortable.
The DidyFix is made using the same organic woven fabrics Didymos have been using in their wraps and slings since 1972. Clip up, tighten and you're carrying your baby. No knots, no tying.
This if for you if:
- You don't want to do any tying. Clip in, tighten and off you go.
- You want something lightweight. The panel width is not as generous as our LennyLamb carriers but the result is a super lightweight carrier.
- You need all day comfort. Soft padding through shoulders, waistband and leg openings keeps pressure points away on long carries.
- You want to breastfeed while wearing. Adjustable straps let you lower and raise baby easily without removing the carrier.
- Versatility is important. From newborn tummy-to-tummy carries through to hip carries and toddler back carries.
- You want to share. Switch between carers in seconds.

Is the DidyFix suitable from birth?
Yes, from 3.5 kg. The adjustable seat width and panel height let you create a snug fit that supports the ergonomic M-position for newborns. It doesn't cinch as small as LennyLamb carriers but we have tested it with newborns and it has provided a safe and cosy fit.
Up to what age or weight can I use it? Newborn (3.5 kg) to around 20 kg, which is roughly age three. The adjustable panel keeps support and comfort consistent at every stage. The width is not as generous as the LennyLamb carriers so you may not achieve a knee to knee position up to 20kg. This is less important once baby is walking but some people still prefer it for maximum comfort.
What's the difference between the LennyLamb carriers and the DidyFix? All are ergonomic, high quality carriers, but they serve different needs.
The LennyLight is minimalist, lighter and simpler to use, with fewer adjustment options. Best for petite wearers, travel or warm climates. Due to the lack of adjustment for the shoulder strap, the strap length can feel insufficient for average or larger sized wearers.
The LennyUpGrade PRO is more adjustable, slightly bigger with a taller waistband, has more padding (including behind the buckles), and ships with a hood and lumbar support included. Better for plus-sized wearers because the shoulder straps and waistband are longer.
The DidyFix sits somewhere in the middle. It has the lightness of the LennyLight with the adjustability of a LennyUpGrade PRO. The panel width is not as generous as in the LennyLamb carriers so it might not last as deep into toddlerhood but you get less bulk as a result.

Does it come with a hood? Yes, it has an inbuilt hood that can be used for additional neck support and/or sun protection.
Is it hip-healthy? Yes. The DidyFix supports a hip healthy M'-position. It seats baby with knees higher than bottom in a spread-squat position, the recommended position for healthy hip development. It is tested to EU and ASTM safety standards.
Can two carers share one carrier? Yes. Fully adjustable straps and buckles mean you can quickly customise the fit to suit different bodies. We use this carrier often at meets when two parents are sharing.
Why are different colours different prices? Didymos carriers come in different fabric blends, weaves and weights. Pricing is affected by the fabric you have chosen.
Is the DidyFix good for summer? Yes, it is super lightweight. Your fabric choice can mean it is even better for summer. Lighter fabrics and linen blends are even more breathable. The lower the gsm, the thinner the fabric.
