A woven wrap is designed for safe babywearing of little babies from birth (3.5kg) right through to toddlerhood and beyond. Woven wraps can also be used for premature and low birthweight babies with medical approval and professional support.

Sylvan Nettle, a limited edition release from Didymos, is a fun doubleweave with a herringbone weave on one side and a basket weave on the other. 

The cotton-nettle blend adds pleasant grip and gives this wrap its distinctive feel. Despite its substantial weight, it is wonderfully soft, fluid and beautifully broken in from the very first touch.

The techniques and positioning are almost endless with a woven wrap, offering a custom fit and healthy ergonomic positioning at all stages of your baby's development.

Your choice of wrap size will depend on the babywearer - not on the baby, as well as the style of wrapping you plan to do.

Didymos make eight wrap sizes to choose from:

• Size 2 - (length 2.6m) is generally suitable for short carries like traditional sling carry.
• Size 3 (length 3.2m) is generally good for short carries like half jordan's, robin's hip carry.
• Size 4 - (length 3.6 m) is generally suitable for the following carries: kangaroo carry, hip kangaroo carry and simple ruck carry.
• Size 5 - (length 4.2 m) is perfect for petite and short person.
• Size 6 – (length 4.6 m) is perfect for average built person (up to size 14/16).
• Size 7 – (length 5.2 m) is perfect for person wearing size 14/16 and bigger and also for a tall person (women over 178cm tall and men over 185cm tall – even slim built).
• Size 8 - (length 5.6 m) is perfect for larger parents and for fancy finishes.

Fabric may shrink up to 4% during first wash.

Taking care of your Didymos woven wrap will depend on the fibres that it is made from. Easy care fibres such as cotton, hemp and linen can be washed on warm or even hot washes if necessary. Delicate fibres like silk and wool should only be washed in cold water.
