Q: What makes the Onbuhimo PRO different from other baby carriers?
The LennyLamb Onbuhimo PRO is waistband-free, which makes it unique among structured carriers. This design takes pressure off the abdomen making it a great option during pregnancy, postpartum recovery or for caregivers who simply prefer a waist-free fit.
Q: What ages and sizes is the Onbuhimo PRO suitable for?
The Onbuhimo PRO is designed for children who can sit unassisted:
Q: Can I use the Onbuhimo PRO for newborns?
No - Onbuhimo carriers are not recommended for newborns. It should only be used once your baby can sit independently (usually around 6 months+). For a safe fit in a baby carrier with a newborn we recommend the LennyLight or Neko Switch.
Q: Can the Onbuhimo PRO be worn on the front as well as the back?
Yes. While it is primarily designed for back carrying, some parents do use it on the front once their child is big enough to sit safely in the carrier.
Q: Is the Onbuhimo PRO comfortable for parents?
Absolutely. The padded shoulder straps are adjustable to fit a wide range of body types, and the movable chest belt makes it easy to get the right support. Many caregivers find it especially comfortable for short “up and down” carries with active toddlers. Because it does not come with a waistband we would not recommend this carrier for long walks unless you've built up some shoulder strength.
Q: Is the carrier good for warm weather?
Yes! Because of the waistband free design there is less carrier touching your body with helps with airflow and keeping cool.
Q: Is the Onbuhimo PRO safe?
Absolutely. The Onbuhimo PRO is certified to ASTM F2236-16a safety standards and is recognised as “hip-healthy” when used correctly.
The certificate of compliance with safety norm ASTM F2236 - 16a. Certified hip healthy baby carrier.

Kiki also offered to help with making sure i was happy with how the carrier fit etc.
Every time I’ve ordered from (or interacted with) cloth and carry, Kiki has gone above and beyond and just made it the best experience.
The Onbuhimo is a fantastic carrier and just what our family needed!
What a great service to be able to try a carrier before you buy it. Kiki was amazing help for the 2 weeks of the trial and after I decided to purchase as well, checking in to see if we’re needed any help with fit.
The LennyLamb upgrade pro turned out to be better than expected after a little bit of tweaking the fit. So comfy for mum and newborn. Fits me well, size 12 165cm tall. Felt a little bulky to begin with but the comfort outweighs any other complains I would have.
Its so beautiful, have already gotten so many compliments and asking about what brand it is
How lucky we were that Cloth & Carry organized an Australian exclusive release of this wrap! I had to snatch one up for myself and got the very last size 5 - and it has quickly become my favourite. Even in the steamy conditions of Brisbane summer, this wrap excels - easy to wrap with, holds a CCCB even on tippy tails, and quickly broken in to soft and snuggly after only a few wears. The colours are beautiful and we love the fishes. It was also shipped super quickly, I couldn't believe how soon it arrived at my doorstep with a lovely handwritten note from Kiki. C&C continues to excel with their customer service and I do not hesitate recommending this lovely small business to both new and experienced parents who are interested in buying a carrier.
Ring slings have become my go-to when out and about and after trying a trias wrap and loving it, I was curious about a double weave ring sling. The trias pure did not disappoint! This blend is easy to break in, breathable and feels supportive wearing my toddler on my hip so that she can see the world. Cannot fault Kiki's customer service and responsiveness to any queries!
